Solo practice

Play Sequence vs Computer

Practice the card and board game against SEQUENCE AI whenever you like. Pick Easy, Medium, or Hard, then start a solo match in your browser without waiting for another player.

How to play against the computer

The solo mode is available from the main Play screen. Choose the bot before starting your match.

  1. Open Play

Visit the game, enter a display name, and select Play vs Computer.

  2. Choose your setup

Select Play the computer, pick Easy, Medium, or Hard, and adjust the board, timer, or chip if you want.

  3. Start your match

Use the start button in the game setup. Choose a card from your hand, then place a chip on a legal board space when it is your turn.

Three useful things to practice

Look at both card spaces

Most cards appear twice on the board. Before placing a chip, compare the two available spaces and choose the one that helps your line or blocks the bot.

Watch for four in a row

Check your own lines and the bot's possible next move. A defensive chip can stop a sequence while helping you build one nearby.

Use Jacks with a plan

Two-eyed Jacks can place a chip on an open space; one-eyed Jacks can remove an opponent chip that is not protected by a completed sequence. The rules guide explains both.

A quick reminder of the goal

Play cards to place chips on the 10 × 10 board. A sequence is five connected chips in a straight horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line. Corner spaces count for every player. The complete how-to-play guide covers Jacks, dead cards, and the winning condition for each player mode.
